We have an exciting opportunity to join our Billing Team team based on the prestigious Capability Green Business Park in Luton, as a Billing Manager on a 12m FTC (mat cover)

Reporting into the Senior Billing & Customer Service Manager you will develop, maintain and execute a business plan for your team aligned to the Randstad UK Billing function that supports achievement of the Randstad business plans and is centered on a sustainable, high performance culture with clear performance targets.

You will be responsible for:

Planning

• Carry out regular planning using detailed knowledge of brand plans and resource requirements
• Develop targets from plans and communicate them to all relevant team members
• Manage functional resources to achieve targets and services levels
• Develop team concurrently with the CI planning, adapting the team to changes when needed 

Teams and teamwork

• Maintain professional relationships with all Randstad stakeholders
• Actively encourage team members in meetings to participate in discussions, voicing ideas, opinions and concerns in a candid manner
• Lead and develop a team to deliver timely and accurate billing products and services
• Promote personal accountability throughout the Randstad UK Billing team
• Create and action development plans for all team members
• Keep the Billing team informed of progress and problems, celebrating successes appropriately

Customer Service

• Maintain a clear understanding of client requirements
• Actively support understanding of and adherence to the FSSC Customer Service charter
• Support brand sales through active involvement in tenders and client visits
• Manage and clear complaints procedure and report on updates regularly
• Understand key data from the Customer Service survey sent to operations and execute plan to maintain and improve customer service given within the billing team

Improvement

• Lead or support projects to drive World League Finance activities
• Identify opportunities for process and service improvement following agreed “Lean” methodology
• Develop and publish reports that support quality improvements and demonstrate the impact of process changes
• Improve on billing error rates reporting improvements frequently

Control

• Ensure all activities and outputs and fully compliant with all relevant legislation and all relevant Randstad policies
• Monitor agreed KPI’s, assessing performance against targets and identifying any remedial activities where necessary
• Assist in reconciliation of key control accounts
• Understand and manage the KCF within billing team and ensure it is fully auditable.
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Support in any testing requirements within the billing function

To be successful in this role you will display:

• Experience in leading a team
• Working knowledge of billing processes and cycles
• Knowledge of pay and bill systems
• Advanced use of excel
• Proven record of continuous improvement
