We have a great opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join the team on a 10 month fixed term maternity cover contract. Working with the Senior HR Business Partner, the role will be responsible for delivering our HR strategy and objectives in conjunction with our operational managers and directors across two operating companies within our Construction, Property and Engineering Division.

Priorities for the role include working across all generalist areas of HR, to include:

• Driving a high performance culture. Using data from various analytical tools and employee experience software you will be guiding our managers in performance management and in holding great conversations with their teams as well as supporting with action on conduct and poor performance.
• Focusing on Talent Management. You will be supporting the operational teams and our talent acquisition team to make effective hiring and selection decisions, and driving improvements on staff retention.
• Employee development. Working in conjunction with our L&D to support onboarding through our RISE new starter programme and the continuous professional  development of employees and managers. This will also include identifying and developing talent The role holder will also support any HR projects and initiatives throughout the year.

You will be able to demonstrate commercial HR acumen as well as technical HR knowledge, including an interest and/or experience in HR data analytics, and preferably will have experience in a fast paced, multi site environment.

You will be able to demonstrate driving people processes by utilising influencing skills and building effective relationships with peers, managers and directors, both in our operational and functional teams.

To be successful you will show an enthusiasm to share, develop, coach and mentor and will have a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication and delivery.

The ability to travel is essential as we are based in several locations across the UK.
