Randstad is a multinational company specialising in temporary and permanent recruitment, across a range of sectors at all levels. We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join the Randstad UK marketing team (who have been shortlisted twice for Best Marketing Campaign by the Global Recruiter Awards!) supporting our Business Solutions division.

Commercial awareness is a must as you will be executing a mixture of marketing campaigns to candidates and clients to grow revenue. You’ll be based at our Head Office on Capability Green  (Luton/M1 corridor)  with some travel to our City of London office.

No two days will be the same as you could be helping to arrange an event on a clipper ship in the middle of the Thames, to preparing market-leading email campaigns, so the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload is important. This year the team rolled out a new brand identity and sponsored the Great North Run.

There’s a real chance to grow and develop skills and responsibility from day one. How? You will have the opportunity to get involved with all aspects of the marketing mix to help drive brand awareness, candidate attraction and client engagement. This role offers the chance to drive real change across the teams and implement new ideas, so creativity is welcome! Looking to develop existing skills or build new ones? Whether through ‘lunch & learns’ on SEO or content writing, to inhouse training, you will be joining a team who genuinely encourage each other to develop their own skillset.

Areas you’ll have exposure to include, but are not limited to:

Digital - website updates, email targeting and campaign management, digital advertising, webinars and social media engagement.

Content and PR - writing articles, blogs, generating ideas, circulating press releases, producing market reports.

Advertising and sponsorship - online, job boards and traditional including outdoor.

If you’re interested in the recruitment industry, drive and ambition will set you apart from other applicants but you will need to demonstrate good stakeholder, supplier and time management within previous marketing roles. Building relationships within the business is key, as is delivering results from all marketing activities.

You will have a background in marketing, ideally in recruitment , or a sales led industry (although not essential), working on campaigns including print, digital and email. A degree in a business related area is desirable, but not essential, as you may hold a marketing qualification, or be working towards one. Occasional travel across (with all travel costs covered) will be required.
