If you are a learning and development director that is looking for their next contract, Randstad are currently seeking you for a 9 month maternity cover. 

The role of L&D Director brings thought leadership, innovation, and strategy to the
design, development, and delivery of L&D at Randstad UK in order to achieve our
ambition to be “to ensure & support sustainable business growth and profitability
by attracting, developing and retaining the right people”.

You will be working closely with the HR team to ensure the L&D efforts
optimize business results through leadership effectiveness, management
development, succession plans, professional development, and career mobility
throughout the employee life cycle. The role will have management responsibilities for a team of L&D Business Partners and their direct reports who focus on executing the L&D strategy and delivering a best in class HR service.

To be succesful in your application, you will need to be: 

- Looking for a contract type role (duration is curently set at 9 months)
- Previous experience working in a senior L&D role or as Head of L&D managing a team
- Proven experience of advising Senior Leadership team on L&D strategies
- Experience of delivering an L&D strategy aligned to a business strategy
- Proven people leadership skills
- Strong facilitation and delivery skills particularly to a management audience
- Previous experience of coaching senior managers.
