We have a fantastic and rewarding opportunity to join Randstad as a Finance Analyst, based in our sophisticated head office on the prestigious Capability Green Business Park in Luton. Home to our Finance, HR, IT, Marketing and Legal teams you will be joining our experts who are the cogs that work in the background to ensure everything runs smoothly for our operational business.

You will be assisting with the financial analysis and reporting of the business performance in order to identity underlying trends and support, decision making and strategic direction.

You will be responsible for:

• Accurate and timely production of business performance reports
• End to end ownership and calculation of operational staff commission
• Assisting with month end accounting and reporting
• Provisioning of management information to internal staff and clients
• Leading and supporting ad hoc financial projects on behalf of the Commercial Finance Manager and Head of Commercial Finance.

To be successful in this role you will display:

• Advanced user of Excel formulas (including v-lookups), Pivot tables, Macros, some knowledge of VBA would be an advantage.
• Able to demonstrate the use of initiative in a fast paced commercial environment
• Knowledge of accounting processes and principles
• Commercially astute with confidence to challenge appropriately
• Self-motivated – working to tight internal deadlines in a small highly focused team
• Proven communication skills – ability to communicate effectively at all levels
