Position Title: Client Development Manager

We are a Market Leader of Sales Training solutions in the UK. As we continue our growth through to 2022 we are hiring into the training consultancy team, and looking for someone to come in and operate with our largest clients at the exec level. In this role you will guide and influence conversations, design and create innovative solutions, and build long lasting relationships. 


∙ Build strong and strategic client relationships

∙ Understand client goals and commercial objectives

∙ Consult directly with senior leadership teams to develop L&D Strategies and interventions to meet the business needs and strategic objectives. ∙ Improve the overall performance of people

∙ Manage the delivery of learning consultancy into the business ∙ Lead the development of a wide range of blended L&D solutions to develop individual and business performance mapped to the needs of the client ∙ Carry out regular and ongoing external benchmarking to understand best practice.

∙ Support the identification and winning of new client contracts (including supporting on writing and delivering tenders/pitches)

∙ Support the Training Director and Training Manager to inspire, coach and mentor less-experienced members of the training team


The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

∙ Extensive experience and expertise in shaping L&D strategies and plans to reflect business needs and implement interventions that deliver ROI ∙ Develop and deliver best practice Learning and Development solutions (including the delivery of virtual content in a progressive and engaging way). ∙ Ability to develop blended learning solutions.

∙ Evaluating the impact of learning programmes on an individual capability and business performance level

∙ Proven coaching and mentoring experience at a senior level. ∙ Proven ability to consult into the business at a senior leadership level and to define, develop and implement bespoke development interventions. ∙ Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple regions

∙ Understanding of L&D and management frameworks.

∙ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

∙ Experience with project management.

∙ A background in B2B sales and leadership with a proven track record of success is desirable
