Quality Area Owner - Skelmersdale - £24k

Randstad In-house Services, part of the Randstad group, specialises in providing bespoke workforce management solutions aligned to business needs and objectives.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Area Owner to join our onsite team at Procter & Gamble.

You will be required to effectively and efficiently deal with internal stakeholders, manage demanding forecasting,  delivering business reviews.

You will be responsible for:

• Day to day control and leadership of the quality operation
• To lead the Health and Safety compliance of the Quality Team and to ensure that they are working in accordance with Site and Task Health and Safety Risk Assessments
• To lead the Customisation Quality Team and to ensure that all products meet designated standards
• To work in close alignment with P&G and Randstad staff to maintain P&G and Randstad protocols and requirements.  
• Escalate any quality failures appropriately within P&G and Randstad
• To ensure that all Quality Staff are appropriately trained and fully understand their roles
• Attendance at all Daily Direction Setting morning meetings
• To be flexible and ensure that the daily business requirements are met by managing daily work priorities.
• Confront all unsatisfactory behaviours and give appropriate feedback to the individuals in line with Company policy and standards

To be successful in this role you will display:

• Experience of working in a warehouse or production environment
• A natural leader with a coaching management style
• Able to display excellent communication and leadership qualities
• An understanding of Quality Management principles and processes
• Managing a high volume workload 
• Working with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and are able to deal with stakeholders at all levels
• The ability to work under pressure
