Head of Commercial Training

As Head of Commercial Training you will support the delivery and management of our L&D strategy & initiatives globally across all of our locations - including rollout of several new and highly impactful initiatives during 2022

We are looking for an exceptional individual who can come in and have an immediate impact, deliver traction, and bring deep L&D expertise into the team. This is a permanent role reporting into the Strategic Training Director, with high visibility and huge potential to drive significant change both internally and externally with our clients.

The Role

  • As part of this role, you will:
  • Lead and inspire the Pareto Commercial L&D team with our L&D commercial strategy
  • Create programs to support the ongoing development of the training delivery team, this includes
  • Ownership and creation of a training global onboarding programme and roll out
  • Capability and training needs analysis, and designing solutions to address identified needs
  • Propose and deliver a programme of development which promotes full capability within each role and supports the 2022 Blended Learning Strategy
  • Work with external bodies to certify and validate our internal training and external training provision
  • Build cross-functional relationships with key internal stakeholders, and encourage accountability of key deliverables
  • Manage the digital offering within the new Pareto Blended Learning solution
  • Work with the Project Evolve team to support the implementation of a new TMS and LXP and design and delivery of learning digital assets including video, podcasts, eLearning etc.…
  • Operate at the highest levels within client organisations in supporting the delivery o of challenging and impactful programmes that supports their L&D strategy
  • Support our specialist Training Consultancy division to understand client needs and offer compelling training solutions that are relevant today
  • Oversee the production of MI to report on the performance of the L&D function and progress against our ambitions
  • Look at the existing content and identify ways to improve and challenge our current thinking
  • Work closely with the Strategic Training Director and the Strategic Accounts Director with ‘go to market strategies
  • Work alongside our project team to launch our new training content and offer insight relevant to market needs and opportunities
  • Ensures all training methods are of high quality, available to clients and support the Blended Learning Strategy

Requirements

  • You will be an experienced L&D Leader that can deliver results and change in a fast-paced environment and get things done in a way that inspires others
  • You'll be a natural collaborator who knows how to build true partnerships and work alongside our Senior Management team as well as representing Pareto’s Training capability with clients and inspiring our L&D team
  • You will have connections with external training partners, as well as a solid understanding of L&D best practices
  • You'll have the ability to use data to support your strategic thinking across learning and our business areas
  • You will have a passion for digital learning and understands how this can transform the design and development of learning initiatives on a global scale
  • You'll thrive on being outside of your comfort zone and not afraid to trial an idea and then improve on it

Skills Required

  • A track record of managing and delivering on the L&D Strategy
  • Experience of partnering with senor business leaders and creating training solutions to meet the business objectives
  • Thorough knowledge of up to date L&D practices
  • Digital blended learning strategies
  • Experience of coaching and developing senior training consultants
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Experience in implementation of learning and digital content management systems
  • Comfort with developing content pertaining to a technical environment
  • Stakeholder management and project planning experience
  • Able to work across a global team

Essential
