At Randstad, we have a fantastic and rewarding opportunity to become a Trainee Recruitment Consultant specializing within the IT sector. 

 

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing your own perm desk within the IT sector
  • Learn and conduct market research, telemarketing, mailing activities and client visits

in order to build and maintain a database of clients and prospects within the

Randstad market approach.

  • Maximizing the return on clients who are already working with us by identifying further sales opportunities
  • Use your client pool to generate more leads within their business
  • Working towards reaching the companies’ financial targets and KPI’s
  • Client interaction to assist with their recruitment needs
  • Building a strong pipeline of candidates
  • Utilize and become familiar with a variety of methods to source the appropriate candidates for your clients needs. 
  • Carry out consistent and detailed registrations, assessments, interviews and reference checks where required to do so.
  • Write and tailor advertisements specific to your clients needs
  • Conduct searches via: our database, incoming applications, job boards and various online tools e.g. ATS systems. 
  • Execute all aspects of administrative tasks relating to the clients and candidates.

candidates and clients to deliver an exceptional service each and every time.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally in the interests of the business and your desk.
  • Is a self-starter who has the personal drive and motivation to develop, execute and report against our market strategy and thrives in a target driven environment. 
  • Is an innovator and strategist who is able to think creatively about alternative solutions that meet our client needs as well as working under pressure.
  • Has excellent communication skills and is capable of leading and dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Has a strong work ethic and a desire to win.
  • A background in sales or customer service is preferred.
