Credit Controller – Luton - Temporary Role - Hybrid working

We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller on an temporary basis  to join our experts who are the cogs that work in the background to ensure everything runs smoothly for our operational business.

Responsibilities:

• Control and reduce debt to set targets on a monthly basis
• Liaise with all clients to ensure remittances are sent to the correct address for the allocation of debt through Blackline
• Ensure and maintain quality call volumes to assist with the  cash collection
• Manage and maintain responsibility for your ledger
• Achieve monthly cash targets , with DSO reductions 
• Reduce 90 plus day debt 
• Work within the company standard credit control routines, utilising pre-defined reports and processes
• Maintain accurate and up to date call and email notes on Crest 
• Record all queries promptly on Crest and issue disputes to Operations
• Work with Operational teams to ensure all client queries are promptly dealt with
• Clear Crest actions in your work queue daily /weekly
• Support the customer risk management procedure ensuring Operations are kept fully informed 
• Communicate to internal and external customers in a professional and polite manner at all times.
• Ensure a culture of effective working relationships, close collaboration and communication is developed and maintained across all finance teams including onshore and offshore teams

In order to assist the credit manager and credit team in achieving cash collection targets by collecting outstanding monies from clients you must be able to demonstrate: 

• Previous credit control experience
• Effective communication both written and verbal
• Proficient use of Microsoft packages especially Excel
