Position Title: Divisional Director

Randstad, the largest staffing provider in the world, is currently hiring for a Divisional Director at Randstad UK who will take the lead in overseeing the commercial and operational aspects of our growing F&A business. Currently 30 heads across multiple locations with a focus on London, this team is set to double in size over the next year. Your primary focus will be on developing and coaching the growing F&A team, maximising profitable growth, achieving budget targets, and making a significant contribution to the overall results of the UK division. As the Divisional Director, you will ensure operational excellence in line with the operational plan and the overall vision for the F&S business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct reports and oversee the management of indirect reports, focusing on professional development and minimising staff turnover.
  • Prepare and execute an operational plan for your division, aligning with the company operational plan, budget targets, and timescales.
  • Be a thought leader on operational best practices, continuously reviewing new operating methods and identifying innovative market-leading practices.
  • Drive the integration of technology and personal touch strategy throughout your division to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of new business development wins and initiatives according to the business plan, while also contributing to new business wins
  • Conduct market research and specific sales activities within assigned sectors, developing effective business networks and relationships with key clients.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for direct and indirect reports, while ensuring staff contingency planning.
  • Identify development opportunities within your division and support the delivery and follow-up of relevant training and support.
  • Support the Learning & Development team in ensuring employees attend relevant training courses and effectively apply their learnings.
  • Demonstrate inspirational leadership, leading by example
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual GP targets for each team and division as defined in the financial budgets.
  • Set and audit operational financial performance levels according to published KPIs.

 

Experience

  • Experience in F&A recruitment, or leading multi-functional teams including F&A
  • Experience in managing team leaders/ managers
  • A passion for strategy while remaining hands-on with coaching and new business development
