Job Title: Regulatory Counsel 

Randstad, a global talent consultancy organisation, is hiring a Regulatory Counsel to add to its growing legal function in the UK & Ireland. 

We would love a mid-to-senior level lawyer who can handle a broad range of regulatory matters. The bulk of the work will be on employment-related regulatory matters, with the opportunity to become an expert in recruitment regulation and the ever-changing landscape that affects staffing companies. There might be a bit of sustainability, tax and general corporate compliance thrown in for good measure. To enjoy the role, you’ll need to be comfortable working independently, with initiative and accountability in equal measure. This will be a great opportunity to get exposure to a range of matters, and build relationships across the business. 

We’re hiring for someone with potential, so while it would certainly be useful you don’t need to know everything there is to know about the recruitment industry - but you’ll need the ability and enthusiasm to learn quickly as you go. The key thing is we find the right person, someone who gets the job done without creating more work for us, and in return we’ll provide a friendly and supportive working environment with market-rate remuneration. 

While in-house legal experience would be beneficial, we’re also interested to hear from promising law firm associates looking for their first in-house role. We know making that first move can be daunting, but we offer a great starting point for building a successful in-house career. 

We’re happy for you to work remotely, office-based (if we’re located nearby), or a suitable hybrid arrangement.
