Randstad currently has an opportunity for a Senior Tax and Reporting Accountant to join our superb UK finance team. You will have the opportunity to advise, improve and be noticed in this critical role.

Primarily you will assist in tax matters across the group, to look for and drive continuous improvement, and develop best practice and effective business controls which will positively impact business results. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for preparing the UK and Irish VAT returns, including producing additional reports for inclusion in the return, and ensuring compliance obligations are being met
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of the monthly Irish EC Sales list 
• Responsible for monthly PAYE/NI/CIS reconciliations and submission of payments to HMRC and Irish Tax authorities
• Prepare and submit reconciliations for Corporation Tax  and Quarterly corporation tax reporting 
• Preparation of the annual PSA returns, annual tax packs, for transfer pricing reports and group tax reporting as requested
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts
• Advise and assist with tax and VAT queries 

Desired experience

• Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) is essential
• Corporation tax knowledge is essential
• Studying towards CTA preferred
• Proficient with tech platforms including excel
• Collaborative, solutions orientated, driven
