We are currently looking for an experienced Learning & Development Consultant/Trainer to join the Learning & Development team at Randstad UK.

 

As a Learning & Development Consultant in the tactical training team, supporting our branch network and recruitment teams, your days will be busy and varied, including, but not limited, to the following:

 

  • Helping to coach new starters and experienced recruiters
  • Desk-based coaching including listening to calls, observing interviews and giving feedback
  • Undertaking desk reviews and helping consultants to formulate sales plans
  • Delivering bespoke training workshops to small groups on various topics including business development, candidate management and job control
  • Identifying individuals/teams where performance is lacking and support is needed, and working with the relevant management teams to come up with improvement plans 
  • Performance coaching - working with individuals across multiple business areas, helping them find solutions and enhance their skills to take them from good to great 
  • Providing feedback to Directors & SMT on how their people are performing to support embedding of L&D

  • An experienced L&D Consultant/Sales Trainer with recruitment industry experience - please note this is a must-have to be considered for the role
  • A proven track record in coaching and developing others
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident in giving developmental feedback to coachees and managers
  • Organised and efficient, responsive and works with a high degree of pace and urgency

This role is field-based which traditionally involves travelling to offices across the UK and visiting our Luton Head Office. At the moment we are all working from home and delivering training virtually, which we expect to continue to an extent when things go back to ‘normal’. That means we’re open to people based in different locations across the UK, however do be aware that there will be some travel required in the future.
