We have an exciting opportunity for a Remittance Specialist on an temporary basis to join our experts in Credit Services & the Cash Allocation Management Team, where the focus of the role is to provide administrative support, assisting our clients in the move onto the system Blackline, our automated cash allocation software. 

This role will provide a fantastic opportunity to speak with a range of clients from all sectors, and make a real difference in a short space of time to the business and help build for the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Reduce all unallocated cash across all ledgers which impacts DSO and debt levels
  • Contact Clients, primarily via phone to discuss current issues & do root cause analysis
  • Record all activity and outcomes and agreements made
  • Liaise with Credit managers on a daily basis
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Senior Management Team to discuss progress
  • Management of inboxes for payment receipts & tracking
  • Providing great customer service, aiming to convert clients to our automated system

A successful candidate will:

  • Previous credit control, purchase ledger, or accounts payable/receivable experience is vital
  • Effective communication both written and verbal
  • Confident phone manner and communication with clients
  • Proficient use of Microsoft packages especially Excel
  • Any previous experience with Blackline, Crest or Salesforce is a bonus
